College career

As a freshman in 2015–16 at Indiana, Anunoby appeared in 34 games, averaging 6.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game. Anunoby was selected as a Pre-season All-American by ''The Sporting News''. On 18 January 2017, Anunoby injured his right knee against
