Nuriye Akman (born 1957) is a Turkish journalist, columnist, and novelist who is especially known for her interviewing prominent figures in Turkish politics and culture. She was detained as part of the investigation into the military coup attempt on 15 July 2016, subsequently arrested 30 August 2016 and released pending trial on 12 October 2016. On 6 July 2018, Akman was acquitted of all charges.
