Taxonomy

The genus ''Novakiella'' was first described by David Court & Forster in 1993 as a replacement name for ''Novakia''. The sole species ''N. trituberculosa'' was originally placed in the now obsolete genus '' Epeira'' as ''E. tri-tuberculata''.

Distribution
