Allaer started racing at age 6 and in 2008 was competing in the Florida Karting Championship Series.
His first race in the
SCCA National Championship Runoffs garnered him a third place finish in the
Formula Continental class.
The following year at the SCCA Runoffs he won the Formula Continental class over
