While home with her newborn daughter, Lundrigan began writing articles and then decided to try writing a novel.

. Her family moved back to Newfoundland when she was two and a half and grew up in
Upper Gullies, Newfoundland. She attended Queen Elizabeth Regional High School in
Foxtrap, Newfoundland, and later went on to receive a BSc from the
University of New Brunswick
