''NML'' initially did not use any VJs from ''MuchOnDemand''. The program's first co-hosts were Lauren Toyota, Phoebe Dykstra and Bonn Smith. In the following years, former ''MuchOnDemand'' hosts Jesse Giddings and Liz Trinnear began co-hosting ''NML''.
