Măgherani (Nyárádmagyarós) in 2004. The commune is composed of seven villages: Bâra (''Berekeresztúr''), Bereni, Cându (''Kendő''), Drojdii (''Seprőd''), Eremieni (''Nyárádszentimre''), Maia (''Mája''), and Mărculeni (''Márkod'').
The commune is located in the east-central part of the county, east of the town of
