Among the crew was his son Capt Asif Nawaz, Pilot
Lieutenant Colonel Syed Amir Abbas, and Airman/Technician Subedar Abadullah.
Nawaz was buried with his son in his home town, Chak 126 JB in Chiniot, with full military honours.
