Michael Christopher de Brenni, is an Australian politician currently serving as the Manager of Opposition Business in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. Born 8 February 1978, he attended Redeemer Lutheran College before going on to Griffith University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce. Prior to his election to the Queensland Parliament, he served as a member of the trade union movement, working as the campaigns officer for the Queensland Council of Unions. He previously served as the Minister for Energy and Clean Economy Jobs, Minister for Energy, Renewables and Hydrogen and Minister for Public Works and Procurement, and the Minister for Housing and Public Works, Minister for Sport and Minister for Digital Technology.
