Bryce married Quentin Strachan on 12 December 1964; the couple had two daughters and three sons.Singh (2010) Bryce died on 15 January 2021, aged 82, after a long illness.

. He was honoured by ''Indesign Magazine'' as a luminary. In 2006, he was inducted into the Design Institute of Australia Hall of Fame.
