MTS is an institution of the Sarawak Chinese Annual conference (SCAC), the Sarawak Iban Annual conference (SIAC) and the Sabah Annual Conference (SAC) of the
Methodist Church in Malaysia The Methodist Church in Malaysia is a body within the Methodist tradition in Malaysia. With approximately 200,000 members in more than 1034 congregations (local and preaching points), it is the second largest Protestant denomination in the cou ...
. It is directly responsible to a joint Board of Management, which includes the Bishop of the Methodist Church, and serves the two annual conferences accordingly.
