Mesatis ( grc, Μεσάτις) was a town of
ancient Achaea, in the neighbourhood of
Patrae. It is said to have been founded by the
Ionians, when they occupied the country. After their expulsion,, the Achaean hero
Patreus withdrew the inhabitants from
