The Millenia was more dramatically face lifted for the 2001 model year, with most modifications updating the front and rear bumpers and grille as well as reinforcements to the body structure and larger brakes.Inside, the car added standard leather upholstery and a power lumbar support for the driver. While production ceased in September 2002 with the final 35 units, in the United States there were still new Millenia sales reported as late as July 2004.
