According to the
2011 Census of India, Mashaldaha had a total population of 3,889, of which 2,018 (52%) were males and 1,871 (48%) were females. Population in the age range 0–6 years was 625. The total number of literate persons in Masaldaha was 2,300 (70.47% of the population over 6 years).
Education
Masaldaha Ganpat Rai High School is a Bengali-medium coeducational institution established in 1954. It has facilities for teaching from class V to class XII. It has a library with 2,000 books, and 15 computers for teaching and learning.
