Joan Sebastian José Manuel Figueroa Sr. (April 8, 1951 – July 13, 2015), known professionally as Joan Sebastian (), was a Mexican singer and songwriter. Born in Juliantla, Guerrero, he composed more than 1,000 songs, including compositions for artists such ...
for five years and had a son with him, Julián Figueroa. In her personal life, Maribel Guardia has faced various challenges. Julián Figueroa followed in his parents' footsteps and pursued a music career. On 9 April 2023, Julián Figueroa was found dead at his home at the age of 27. Maribel Guardia has been married to Marco Chacón since 2010.
