Route description

PR 423 begins along the southern outskirts of Crystal City at a junction with PTH 3 / PTH 34 (

), with the road continuing west towards Clearwater as PTH 3A. It heads due east as a two-lane gravel road, travelling through rural farmland as it passes just to the north of Purves, connected via a short section of Road 57W and Railway Street. The highway comes to an end a short time later at an intersection with PR 242 along the boundary with the
