''Majuri'' (Major) is a military officer's rank (OF3) in Finland, senior to
Kapteeni and junior to
Everstiluutnantti.
History
During peacetime, a ''Majuri'' is a staff officer or battalion commander. The rank requires the completion of a senior staff officer course.
