Rolling stock

Although the locomotive has a top speed of , KTT only runs at a maximum service speed of on the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou - Kowloon Railway and at on the Guangzhou - Shenzhen Railway. KTT now has ten compartments (eight first-class compartments and two executive-class compartments). Since March 2018, all KTT coaches have undergone minor refurbishments. Refurbished trains feature reupholstered seats, new flooring, train automatic broadcast system devices and improved barrier-free facilities.
