History and Attractions

The date of establishment the village is considered 1418. But archaeological excavations have revealed traces of ancient settlements. Traces of Tripoli culture been found in the village Lysivtsi.
Until 18 July 2020, Lysivtsi belonged to
Zalishchyky Raion Zalishchyky Raion () was a raion (district) of Ternopil Oblast. The administrative centre and largest town was Zalishchyky. The rest of the district's population lived in one of 35 village councils or 53 rural settlements. The raion was abolished ...
. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Ternopil Oblast to three. The area of Zalishchyky Raion was merged into Chortkiv Raion. The church of the Intercession of Blessed Virgin Mary is in the village, where preserved icon of the Intercession of the Virgin Mary (17th century).
As well as ruined Roman Catholic church (stone, 1887) has the village.
