review by Scott Yanow noted "Some of the music is quite romantic (particularly "Interlude" and "Opus in Pastels") and the renditions of such tunes as "Concerto to End All Concertos," "Collaboration," and "Artistry in Rhythm" certainly sound much different than the originals.
