On August 10, 2009, the group (then consisting of Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, and Lauren) uploaded their cover of " Party in the U.S.A.". In 2010, their youngest sister, Dani, joined the band. On December 6, 2011, Cimorelli released their 2nd EP, ''CimFam''. This marked their first release under a major record label.
