He has starred in many South African as well as international TV series, including '' Generation Kill'' (2008) and the 2024 series '' White Lies''


Personal life

Kirkwood was married to South African model and photographer Josie Borain from 2002 until 2012, and had two or three children together. In 2011 they were living in Hout Bay. Kirkwood enjoys trail running and cycling, and has participated several times in the South African Ironman competition.
