Károly Nóti (1 February 1892 – 28 May 1954) was a Hungarian
screenwriter A screenwriter (also called scriptwriter, scribe, or scenarist) is a person who practices the craft of writing for visual mass media, known as screenwriting. These can include short films, feature-length films, television programs, television ...
. For his work in Germany and Britain he was credited as Karl Noti. During the 1930s Nóti was one of the leading and most prolific screenwriters in the Hungarian industry.
