, South Korea. In 1992, she finished ninth in the 500 m competition. Two years later she was a member of the Korean relay team which won the gold medal in the 3000 m relay event. In the 1000 m discipline she won the bronze medal and in the 500 m competition she finished fifth. Kim retired soon after 1997 Winter Universiade, where she won Gold medal for 1000m Short-track speed skating.
