History

The area was originally part of

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise): Mueang Kamphaeng Phet, Khlong Khlung, Pang Sila Thong of Kamphaeng Phet Province; Umphang, Phop Phra and Wang Chao of Tak province.
