Concepcion hauled in seven receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns. During his freshman season in 2023, he played in 12 games and started 11 of them, finishing the season with 64 receptions for 767 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also rushed 38 times for 297 yards. Concepcion set NC State freshman records for receptions and receiving yards. On December 3, 2024, Concepcion announced that he would enter the transfer portal.
