Video footage of an altercation at a nightclub in the city's Lower Greenville neighborhood that preceded the murder showed that one of the men involved was wearing a "YKDV" necklace. In an interview with the

On June 7, 2025, Joseph was arrested and charged with DWI and collision involving personal injury or death after he was involved with a fatal collision with a motorcycle.
