Reardon began her career on the US edition of '' Vogue'' magazine, and was made fashion director of the British ''
Tatler ''Tatler'' (stylised in all caps) is a British magazine published by Condé Nast Publications. It focuses on fashion and lifestyle, as well as coverage of high society and politics. It is targeted towards the British upper and upper-middle c ...
'' magazine at the age of 21. Reardon remained in this position for 9 years, before gaining the attention of '' Vanity Fair'' editor Graydon Carter, who gave her the job of contributing editor in 1999, in which she spent eleven years in the role. Reardon has also contributed to a number of UK national newspapers and written three columns in ''
