. He was married in 1951 to Smt. Tara Joshi having 3 sons & 3 daughters. His son, Deepak Joshi was the MLA for Bagli from 2003-2008 and later, the MLA for Hatpipliya from 2008-2018. Kailash Joshi died at the age of 90 on 24 November 2019.
