In 1927–1928 Oksanen played for Kullervo Helsinki, which was a member of the left-wing

Oksanen started acting in the early 1930s. His first major film role was in the 1937 film ''Nuorena Nukkunut'' by

At the World War II Oksanen served as a runner. He was wounded by the
