KWND began broadcasting on July 12, 1993 from its studios at 2550 S. Campbell Avenue in Springfield, Missouri. Originally owned by Parkcrest Assembly of God, the station was purchased in 1995 by the
Radio Training Network Radio Training Network, Inc. is an American non-profit organization, non-profit broadcasting organization that operates several networks of Christian radio-radio format, formatted stations, mostly in the Southeast. The network's footprint includes ...
. KWND began broadcasting in HD radio on January 28, 2020, on 88.3-1 FM. LF Radio was added to 88.3-2 FM on February 3, 2020.
