Career


Boulogne

Jordan Gele made his senior debut with Boulogne’s reserve team during the 2012–13 season, competing in the

, the fifth tier of French football. He made 17 appearances and scored 1 goal for the club during the season.


Compiègne

He joined AFC Compiègne in 2013 in a free transfer, playing in the French fifth division this time as well. During the 2013-14 season he played 11 matches scoring 2 goals.


Sainte Geneviève

During the 2014-15 season he played for Sainte Genevieve in the fifth division scoring 1 goal in 8 matches. He left at the end of the season on a free transfer.


Mulhouse

For the 2015-16 season, Gele played for Championnat National 2 team Mulhouse, scoring once in 12 matches.


Nantes

During the 2016-17 season he played for Nantes B, the reserve team of Nantes, in the Championnat National 2. He played 18 matches for them.


Winterthur

After spending a whole season without a club he joined Winterthur in the Swiss Challenge League, the second division of Swiss Football. During the 2018-19 season he played 6 matches scoring once. His only goal came in a 1-1 draw with FC Schaffhausen right before half time.


FC Rapperswill-Jona

At the end of the 2018-19 season he was released by Winterthur but he quickly found a new club, signing with Rapperswil-Jona who had just been relegated. For the 2019-20 season they played in the Swiss Promotion league which is the Swiss third division. He played three matches and scored three times in the Swiss Cup as Rapperswil-Jona reached the quarterfinals. In the first round he scored twice, including the winner in the 84th minute as Rapperswill beat FC Muri 3-2. In the round of 16, Rapperswil won 3-2 against FC Bulle, with Gele scoring the winning goal in the 70th minute. He played the quarter-final match against Sion but lost 2-1 and were eliminated. Gele played 16 matches scoring 7 goals in the Promotion League. Rapperswil were second in the league until the lower divisions of Switzerland were cancelled for the remainder of the season due to COVID-19.


2020-21 season

During the 2020-21 season, Rapperswil did not compete in the Swiss Cup as only 18 of the usual 45 slots were allocated to lower division teams due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In the Promotion League, Gele scored the equaliser in the 95th minute in a 1-1 draw with AC Bellinzona on August 15. On September 12 he scored twice in a 3-2 loss to Sion u21. On September 19 he scored the third goal and assisted another in a 5-1 win over FC Black Stars. He scored a hat trick on September 26 in a 6-1 win over FC Köniz. On April 10 he came off the bench in the 79th minute and scored a penalty in the 90th minute to defeat FC Münsingen 3-0.
