Dangerfield was signed by the Bills as an undrafted rookie free agent following the

He was released on September 8. He was re-signed to the practice squad on October 16. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Steelers on January 15, 2018. On March 20, 2020, Dangerfield re-signed with the Steelers.
