The marriage was childless. After his death, she became more active as an artist again. She is known for still lifes and portraits. Her pupils were Ans van den Berg, Frederik Henderik de Meester, and Hillegonda Henriëtte Tellekamp. Bauer-Stumpff died in Amsterdam.
