Kickboxing career

Ying began 2019 with a decision win over Promdonyang Wirat, and followed it up with a unanimous decision win against Nicolas Gaffie, before losing a decision in turn to Markko Moisar. He then entered the 2019 WLF 63 kg tournament. He defeated Anas Mouktader by decision in the quarterfinals, but lost to the eventual winner
