He has also maintained a social media presence with his videos reviewing albums and singles as he runs. On 25 July 2025, Watkins posted a twelve-minute rant on various social networks explaining why he is quitting ''Running Punks''. In the video he accused Rhodri Morgan of pushing him out of the group and sidelining him. Additionally, Watkins made several defamatory statements about Morgan's ability to run a company according to its legal requirements.
