In Jaridih CD block in 2011, amongst the class of total workers, cultivators numbered 9,036 and formed 23.54%, agricultural labourers numbered 7,511 and formed 19.57%, household industry workers numbered 1,597 and formed 4.16% and other workers numbered 20,241 and formed 52.73%.
