Lebanon Mountains, which is part of Lebanon's total of 22 non-navigable rivers. The river passes through a picturesque landscape, including areas like the
Ras Nhach valley where the historic
Mseilha Fort is located.
The river suffers from pollution, and dries completely in the summer.
