Ivesheadiomorph structures were previously described as distinct organisms, namely ''Ivesheadia lobata'' ("pizza disk"), ''Blackbrookia oaksi'', ''Shepshedia palmata'' and ''Pseudovendia charnwoodensis''. However, all of these fossils have since been rejected as valid taxa.
