Publications and library and multimedia resources

* ''Atti e Memorie'' was the institution's official journal, which operated in mild competition with the Rivista Italiana di Numismatica, published by the pre-existing Italian Numismatic Society. However, the institute's publication was more specifically focused on classical coinage, particularly Greek and Roman, showing less interest in medieval and modern numismatics—areas more extensively covered by its competitor; * In 1954, under the direction of Laura Breglia, the journal ''Annali dell'Istituto Italiano di Numismatica'' was founded. Like its predecessor, it primarily concentrated on ancient numismatics and the activities of coin collections (Medaglieri) in Italian museums and superintendencies, serving as a complementary publication to the existing periodical of the Italian Numismatic Society.CENTO ANNI DELLA RIVISTA ITALIANA DI NUMISMATICA
