History

Irmino was the first village of Petrovka/Petrivka () founded in 1808 on the right bank of the Luhan by peasants from the

On 8 July 2010 the town was renamed Irmino. The name Irmino is based on the Russian language and does not conform with the norms of the Ukrainian language.
