Okkas is the 2nd leading all-time goalscorer for the
Cyprus national team, scoring 27 total goals for Cyprus. With 106 caps, Okkas has made more appearances for Cyprus than any other player in history. He also captained the national team for several years.

Nea Salamis in the
1993–94 season, aged 17.
He scored the second goal in Anorthosis' 3–1 win against
