in Western Siberia. Many different fossils have been recovered from the formation. It overlies the Late Jurassic Tyazhin Formation and underlies the Albian Kiya Formation. Fauna

A fragmentary wing metatarsal nearly identical to the pterosaur '' Lonchognathosaurus'' is also known.
