Description

The stream is maintained by the community, is situated adjacent to the beach, and flows directly into the Lagos lagoon. The attraction is listed as a gazetted tourism site and one of three designated sites in the Ikorodu Division by the Lagos State Government. The inaugural edition of the event took place in 2021 and was attended by thousands of tourists; however, there has been growing concern about the tourist site neglect, and the restoration requires immediate attention from the government. Despite its potential as a major tourist attraction, the Odoro Beach has fallen into a state of neglect. Concerns have been raised by local residents, tourists, and conservationists regarding the lack of maintenance and upkeep of the site.
