On March 13, 2025, it was announced that ABS-CBN will broadcast the spin-off of ''Idol'' franchise in the Philippines after 3 years of the second season of the main franchise.

The initial auditions for the season opened on March 27, 2025, for Idol hopefuls aged 6 to 13 years old. To advance and receive a golden ticket to the next round, an auditionee needed to receive at least three "yes" votes from the judges.
