György Barkó (18 July 1931 – 30 January 2024) was a Romanian and Hungarian actor.

on 18 July 1931. In 1950 he graduated from the Saint George Székely Mikó Reformed College, the same year he successfully auditioned for the Cluj István Szentgyörgyi Theatre Institute. From 1954, he was a member of the
Cluj-Napoca State Hungarian Theatre until 1989, when he settled in Hungary.
His wife was Julia Bereczky, actress and director (1928–2007). Barkó died in
