It remained in production until the 1970s. , Guy Arab V was one of the most iconic bus models of the now defunct China Motor Bus (CMB) company. They have been serving on CMB routes from the 1950s until 1997. Part of CMB's Guy Arab V fleet were converted from single-deckers to double-deckers with a rebuilt bodywork in late 1960s to early 1970s.
