Provenance

It has been suggested, apparently without good evidence, that the Gulshan album was acquired by

The core of the Gulshan album (92 folios) remains in the library of Gulistan Palace in Tehran (no. 1663),Atil 1978, p. 100. but many folios have been removed and are now scattered across art galleries and private collections worldwide.
