Grand Trunk Western Railroad The Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company was an American subsidiary of the Grand Trunk Railway, later of the Canadian National Railway operating in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Since a corporate restructuring in 1971, the railroad ha ...
. It is a simple one-story, frame building measuring 20 feet by 30 feet. It has a steeply pitched hipped roof with overhanging eaves and a projecting three-sided bay. The depot operated until 1980. It was moved to its present location in the Griffith Historical Park and Railroad Museum in 1980. ''Note:'' This includes and Accompanying photographs. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
