. He signed with the team on May 12. He was released on September 9, 1970, but then signed to the Vikings'

He was promoted to the active roster on October 15, 1971, and played in four games during the 1971 season. He also appeared in one playoff game that year. Zaunbrecher played in seven games in 1972 and five games in 1973. He was released by the Vikings on September 10, 1974.
